How long you should take in completing certain tasks
Here is information on specific tasks we carry out for our clients and how long it should take you to complete.
If you find you are taking longer than the prescribed time, you must let us know before you complete the whole task. It might be that the audio/video recording is not clear, or people are talking over the top of each other. Do not struggle, speak up.
Audio Transcription
We say 3 times the amount.
Example – if the recorded speaking audio is 5 minutes in length, it should take you no more than 15 minutes to type up (5 x 3 = 15).
Proof Reading
We say 3-5 minutes per page.
Example – an easy reading 20 page document would take 60 minutes.
Example – a more complicated 20 page document might take 1 hour 40 minutes.
Typing of MDT minutes from a recorded Zoom meeting
We say 3 times the amount, like the audio transcription.
If the Zoom recording doesn’t have the named people speaking right at the beginning, go back to the client and ask for the details of each of the speakers.
Qunote Email Filing
It is expected when you’re learning how to use Qunote, how to file the emails for each client, who the different contacts are related to each client, can take a while to get used to. So you may be a bit slow the first couple of weeks.
But we expect you to get quicker and generally have a time limit of 2 minutes per email filed.
