We provide you with a bespoke email to send to the CQC with all your documents for your submission.

CQC’s Request for more Information

Typically once you’ve submitted your application, the CQC will respond with a list of queries.

This is all very normal practice and part of the journey.

We will help you amend the documents to re-submit your application again.

Initial Interview   

Generally, around 12-16 weeks after your CQC submission you will be invited to an initial interview with a regional inspector.  This is usually over a Zoom/Teams call which can take around two to three hours.

We will signpost you to our colleague Georgina Turner who offers Registered Managers one-on-one interview preparation and support. A set of four virtual one hourly sessions tailored to suit your needs and get you ready for CQC Interview.

Getting Inspection Ready – Attending our Webinars 

To help you get Inspection Ready we can provide support with:

  • Understanding the Key Questions and how to evidence collect against Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring and Well Led;
  • Developing an easy to use evidence system to map against the Key Questions.
  • Support with creating your policies;
  • Understand your obligations around Statutory Notifications;
  • Reviewing or creating your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Design and embed monthly audits;
  • Ensure team meetings are structured, minuted and followed up with CQC updates as a standing item.
  • Establish a simple customer feedback process for clients, staff and stakeholders, including compliments.

  • Review and enhance quality assurance processes.
  • Review recruitment, onboarding and training to ensure they are robust and compliant.
